After 35 years of living in our small two-story home, we knew it was time to think about one-story living.  We knew (or figured) that we could not afford a stick-built so decided to check out what we could get for our home.  Not sure of realtors, we decided to talk with someone at Coldwell Banker Plourde Real Estate.  We walked into the office, told the receptionist that we wanted to speak with an agent.  Upon hearing our request, this perky young woman came out of her office.  She took her time asking us questions regarding our house.  We made a date for her to come and see the place so she could get pictures and a good reference for neighborhood comps.  We went back and forth with the comp sales looking for a good price for our house.  She didn’t pressure us to sign a contract; telling us to think it over and just let her know when we were ready.  We signed the contract on a Wednesday and by Friday afternoon we were under contract for our asking price.  That is when Holly Carey really shined.  Guiding us through all the inspections.  Telling us what the buyer wanted and what we actually needed to do.
